Programs
Ages 3-5
Our Primary Program
For ages 3-5, we have our primary program. This includes trying a variety of fun little instruments, singing and playing music games. This curriculum is inspired by two highly accredited approaches; Kodaly and Orff. Kodaly uses solfege (Do, Re, Mi) and simple folk songs to promote singing and ear training. Orff uses chants, movement and body percussion to develop a strong sense of rhythm. These approaches are both widely used by elementary music teachers across North America.
By the end of the year they will have a foundation in both melody and rhythm that will give them a great advantage when they go to learn an instrument or enter other musical environments.
This program is low pressure and focused on exposure, not correcting. Parents should not expect their child to play a song on an instrument by the end of the year or perform at a recital.
This program can be done 1:1 or with friends if you coordinate & let us know.
Ages 5+
Pick an instrument (if you want)
At age 5, your child can pick an instrument, however, they don't necessarily have to stick to one depending on the teacher. Many of our teachers are multi-instrumentalists and students can try out different options to see what they like.
Preschool partnerships
Own a preschool? We can send a teacher to you to lead primary group music classes! We currently have 2 preschool partnerships. Contact us for more information.

Your Home
Save yourself a night of driving while your child learns from the comfort of home, and no - no need to clean up, we don't judge.
A travel fee is calculated based on distance.

The teacher's home-studio (only available for some teachers)
Some of our teachers have home studios but not all. You can check this on our "Our Teachers" page. All of our teacher's home studios are evaluated for cleanliness and safety.
Instruments
If needed, we have instruments available for sign-out, free of charge, upon request.
We Work with All Kids
We are happy to work with all kids. Whether they have special needs, ADD or are on the spectrum we would love to facilitate their musical journey!
